reCOMPOSE 007: Focus and Exposure for Wildlife

One of the biggest challenges people run into when photographing wildlife is how to properly expose and focus on the animals. This is especially true when these subjects are moving fast or in an unpredictable manner. Further complicating things is the usual varied backgrounds and lighting conditions. In this episode Andy and I will share with you our tips and techniques for improving our chances of making great images.

We don’t always have all the answers, but if we don’t we will research it and try to give you the best answer we can. So what have you got to lose, go ahead and send in your questions to us at contact@recompose.photo.

reCOMPOSE 006: Shoot The Night

Interest in night photography seems to be on an ever increasing upward trajectory, and questions around this topic tend to be some of the most common questions we get asked on and off workshops. Most people seem to think that shooting at night is difficult, and while we can't rely on our cameras to tell us what the right exposure should be, it is not difficult to come up with the correct exposure

On this episode Andy and Juan will share with you their best tips and tricks to have fun shooting the night.

We don’t always have all the answers, but if we don’t we will research it and try to give you the best answer we can. So what have you got to lose, go ahead and send in your questions to us at contact@recompose.photo.

reCOMPOSE 005: State of the industry and Mirrorless vs DSLR

In the past few weeks we have seen a some signs of distress on our industry starting with the news of Nikon suffering some pretty staggering losses and most recently, we have seen a report from LensVid about the state of the photo industry in General.

Plus as you folks may know both of us I made the switch to mirrorless cameras two years ago and still to this day we get many questions as to why, so we thought we would discuss again the many reasons why we both have independently chosen to go mirrorless.

We don’t always have all the answers, but if we don’t we will research it and try to give you the best answer we can. So what have you got to lose, go ahead and send in your questions to us at contact@recompose.photo.
